Adriana, why Z3K?
The concept for Z3K didn't originate in a single evening. It developed gradually.
In our discussions, Jean-Vincent and I have repeatedly found that the truly difficult issues in companies are rarely easy to categorize. It’s not just a single issue or a single strategic question—most of the time, it’s an interplay of several factors, and that’s exactly where it gets challenging.
At the same time, a lot is shifting right now. New technologies, AI above all, are changing how work gets done and how decisions get made. Some things move faster, others get harder to keep track of. That's exactly why, in my view, you need a clear eye for what actually matters.
We wanted to build something that would do justice to situations like these. Without rigid templates and without expecting to have a standard solution right away—but rather with the approach of first truly understanding what the issue is and then developing a suitable solution based on that understanding.
To me, that's exactly what Z3K is: the freedom to deal with things as they actually are, not the way they'd have to look to fit a model.
How does your past experience show up in the way you work today?I’m a lawyer, and in my work I often deal with topics that aren’t entirely distinct from one another. Law, organization, and responsibility are intertwined—and it was precisely this interplay that interested me more than the “subject matter” itself from an early age. What defines me is probably the combination of structure and curiosity. I like to work with precision, think things through, and ask a lot of questions. I’m interested in what really works—even if it isn’t always the most obvious solution. I like it when things become clear. When you take a step back, look at a problem from a new perspective, and suddenly understand what it’s really all about. What kind of person are you?
I enjoy understanding how things are connected and using that insight to create something new. I’m motivated to really delve into topics and develop them further until a clear and coherent solution emerges.
For me, it’s not just about the issue itself, but always about the people behind it as well. I want to help make situations easier to understand, make decisions easier to reach, and ultimately create something that truly helps those involved.
At the same time, I keep in mind that solutions must remain practical. Ultimately, the goal is to create something that works in everyday life and makes a real difference.
